a word from the owner


Hi there!  I’m Ross, one of several faces that make up our small but mighty team.
 
After climbing the corporate ladder for a bit, I decided it wasn’t for me.  Too much bureaucracy, and not enough hospitality.  So I chose to say goodbye to a salary, and jumped into bartending because of the genuine satisfaction I get from expressing creativity and serving others.  I immediately fell in love with the craft cocktail industry, and haven’t looked back since.
 
Years later, I’ve converted into a self-proclaimed cocktail nerd and hospitality champion.  For some street cred, I’ve become a member of the Chicago chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild, am Certified Executive Bourbon Steward, and a BarSmarts Academy Graduate.  I’ve also earned Certifications from the globally-recognized Wine & Spirit Education Trust, Tequila Regulatory Council, and more.
 
I am still very much a student of the industry.  I expand my knowledge in many ways, but none more important than by collaborating with people like you.  Whether you’re a fellow member of “the industry,” a connoisseur of cocktails, or simply a consumer of cocktails, I want to learn from and with you.
 
I look forward to crafting you a cocktail, sharing some knowledge, or having a chat over a drink sometime soon.
